FOSS is a event held annually in India since 2001. This year its between 4th - 8th December at National Science Symposium Centre of the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India.

I'll be attending FOSS.IN first time and my fields of interest being Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSolaris and Mozilla. I heard about the event from Mr. Nirav[website] when I met him in our college. I decided in a one lightning thought I'll be at this global extravaganza whatever happens. 

Now, I wanted everyone in college to know about it. Notice board is a place where every student takes a look everyday. I asked our HOD if I can utilize the notice board for promoting, surprisingly he agreed. I wanted A4 sized posters to hook-up on notice board but FOSS.IN website provides only buttons and banners to promote it on blogs, forums and  websites.

So, I prepared a single-page poster utilizing images and buttons from Promote page of FOSS.IN. I made it in two pages; first being introductory about the event and its sub-events and second being contact information and website name where user can see detailed information about event.

You too can use it at any public place like notice boards. All you gotta do is just download, modify if necessary and print and paste it.
